Care Instructions

We want your kids to have the freedom to treat their clothes with the same tough love they give their activities.

Tips to extend their life:

  • Machine wash cold with other whites
  • Tumble dry low or air dry
  • Turn clothes inside out before washing
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not iron
  • Do not use softeners
  • Do not dry clean
  • Use a mild detergent
  • Avoid washing with thick cottons ie towels

Tips for specific stain removal:

  • Perspiration and greasy stains:
    • Use a clean toothbrush to rub a clear-colored mild detergent or dishwashing liquid into stain. Sweat has a lot of iron in it, and that’s why it can discolor fabric so easily.
  • Blood stains:
    • First make sure your child is taken care of! The sooner you can attend to a blood stain, the better. Treat the area carefully by pouring a little hydrogen peroxide directly on the stain. Also flip the fabric over and treat the reverse side of the stain with the hydrogen peroxide.  After it bubbles up, add clear mild detergent and scrub it with a clean toothbrush, rising with cold water.
  • Colored stains:
    • From sports drinks to popsicles, you can apply a homemade baking soda paste. Mix 2 parts warm water with 1 part baking soda and scrub into the affected area before washing. For an extra stain removal boost, allow baking soda paste to dry in the sun before washing it off.
